Recently, one of my twitter friends told me about the 3in30 Challenge and I immediately knew I wanted to join.
It’s a place where the online community can continue to make me accountable; how could I not want to join? This challenge helps break down lists into bite-sized chunks and allows us to check up on each other over the course of a month. AND IT’S FREE!!!!
Now technically I was suppose to say what my goals were at the beginning of this month, but I found out about this challenge on May 31st, which didn’t give me enough time to even imagine this idea, let alone come up with 3 attainable goals…UNTIL NOW!
So, these are the goals I want to accomplish by the time June 30 rolls around and I hope by posting it out there for all to see, it will help me accomplish them in time!
My FIRST goal is to actually paint this crappy credenza. Yup, the same one I posted on my birthday post and the one I found for $25 at a thrift store, in TOP CONDITION! It just needs a little love.
My SECOND goal would be to complete the kitchen. I’m really sick of this project being delayed any further.
Now, with these TWO GOALS, they are more like projects I haven’t finished, so I need something a little fun…
My THIRD goal is to attend the 2011 Summer Concert City Park Jazz in Denver, Colorado.
I’ve always wanted to go, but I think this summer is it. I just want to sit outside, maybe with a group of friends, listen to some local artist play there wonderful music, enjoy a potluck picnic and do it all for FREE. Doesn’t that just sound like bliss??!!!
So, in the next few weeks I will be blogging about my progress. I will keep you informed as to how I do. So, do you have any goals or tasks you are planning on tackling this summer? I would love to hear about them! Here’s to a great, successful, and productive summer!
