{1} // I don’t know a single man who hates beer. I think it’s against bro-code or something. So, if your guy likes beer, get him a gift that will keep him busy and satisfy his taste buds. Every guy I know who make their own beer absolutely love it.

{2} // Okay, so maybe your guy prefers scotch. Or maybe whiskey. I love the print on these rock glasses and personally, they would pair nicely with my wine set.

{3} // Cornhole is typically a lawn game in which players take turns throwing bags of corn at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. A bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Play continues until a team or player reaches the score of 21. Satisfy this need by getting him a mini cornhole set for his desk.

{4} // Very similar to Apples-to-Apples card game but Cards Against Humanity really brings out most abstract and, often, humorous response to the topic question. This is great if your guy loves to play games!

{5} // If your guy likes tools and does a ton of DIY, get him the Kreg K4MS Jig Master System.  A pocket-hole jig, it offers 1/8-inch incremental settings for materials 1/2-inch thick and patented three drill guide fixed spacing on the drill guide. A dust collection shroud means no more woodchips, and the clamping recess allows you to use many different styles of clamps to secure your jig to the workbench. Mr. P put this on his wish list and I thought it was must-share-item, especially if you have a DIYer on your hands and you need a new bookshelf.

{6} // Bacon. Chocolate. Candy. How can you go wrong? Buy. Now. Even if it’s for yourself.

{7} // Some say that “the watch” is going out of style thanks to the digital-age, but I think a watch say something about a guy’s personality: he’s punctual, he’s stylish, and he’s considerate of others. Plus, it looks really nice when worn with a suit.

What items are you considering for your guy on Valentine’s Day?

date night ideas with free printable!

datenightpackage
Can you believe that February starts on Sunday? Which means Valentine’s day is quickly approaching and I want to help you! Several years ago I started a series called “Date Night” which started after creating a Date Night Package for Mr. P. It was so successful, I shared our stories here on this blog and we’ve continued it for years. Today, I want to provide you with an awesome free printable and 20 ideas to get you started on your Valentine’s day gift!

So, what is a Date Night Package? Well it’s creating pre-planned, (mostly) pre-paid date, once a month each labeled with a month of the year. I started this because I was sick of the question “What do you want to do tonight?” or “When are we going on a date?” and the answer always being “I don’t know”. I also got sick of Home Depot and pizza becoming our “thing”. I wanted more, so I put on my big girl pants and took charge. By creating a Date Night Package ensured Mr. P and I were getting out of the house to create some fabulous memories together.

Sound familiar? Welcome to the club. 😉

Now, I’ve made it super simple for you. Not only do you get each month labeled in a pretty font, I’m also providing 20 different date nights that correspond with a season. Here’s a peak:
